Welcome to the BPL-library

We have just completed a major update to the back end software. Because of this update we have moved some files to new locations. The biggest moves includes the moving the BPL-Data site to the front home position and the TNG genealogy site behind BPL-data.
The Genealogy site can be reached from the home page menu or directly at https://bpl-library.com/TNG/ or can be found by clicking the above menu link "genealogy".

The BPL Library currently contains records from the following family groups:

The records we have cover information from prairie life on a Canadian Homestead to Missionary life and travels in Turkey and the Balkans in the 1800's.

We currently have over 5000 documents cataloged and over 5000 photos. The photos are currently made up of the following collections

  1. PH files: These are some of the oldest photos we have in the collection and cover a wide array of places and people. Of particular interest is the Canadian Prairie photos depicting early homesteading life.
  2. BPL files: Letters and Documents that were part of our original collection
  3. BB files: Early photos of the Belden family in Long Beach, CA and Idyllwild, CA.
  4. PS files: Pope Family Photos.
  5. GB files: Guy Belden Photos.
  6. HP files Harrington Paulson Files and Photos

The BPL currently has over 5000 documents of which only a fraction have been scanned. Most have only been placed in sleeves and given an identification number. We still have many boxes that have not been touched as of yet. Most of the collection was at one time part of a much larger collection that was passed down through family members. We were lucky to obtain much of what we have from Mary Paulson Harrington, and from the Presbyterian Historical Society. Mary Paulson Harrington recently passed away and we received about 48 more boxes that we are currently sorting through.
